Proven organizational skills and attention to detail are also required.
The Senior Accountant will initiate and post journal entries, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, and resolve any related issues. They will prepare monthly financial reporting packages for regional offices, including variance analysis, and research accounting guidance to prepare memos. This role involves assisting in the development of new processes and procedures to enhance month-end close and financial reporting, as well as improving coordination between property and corporate accounting. The Senior Accountant will also aid in departmental initiatives to boost efficiency and the utilization of tools, analyze expenses, assist in budget preparation, and handle audit-related requests and other assigned duties.
