Candidates should have experience in pre-sales solution engineering, solution architecture, or technical marketing engineering. A strong understanding of Contact Center (CCaaS), VoIP, or UCaaS solutions is required, along with an analytical mindset and the ability to uncover hidden advantages. Hands-on experience with CCaaS or conversational platforms is necessary, and experience with UCaaS and phone solutions is advantageous. Experience with competition benchmarking and testing methodologies, intelligence, strategy, or market research is also advantageous, as is previous experience with Zoom's offerings. Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and documentation skills are essential, along with the proven ability to build cross-departmental relationships.
The Competitive Solutions Architect will provide insights through technical, strategic, and industry analysis to drive positioning and conduct hands-on technical evaluations of top CCaaS and Phone vendors, comparing their solutions to Zoom's platform. They will collaborate with benchmarking teams to assess Zoom's positioning against competitors, partner with sales teams to influence high-value opportunities, and work with Product Management and Engineering to influence the product roadmap. The role also involves developing and delivering training programs to enhance competing awareness, contributing to battle-cards, white-papers, and sales enablement materials, and supporting the Win/Loss Program by gathering key insights and driving actions to improve success rates.
