Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Economics, or related major
One year of relevant work experience or internships
Fluent in English, knowledge of second language is a plus
Willingness to travel and flexibility to relocate (required to complete two 6-month rotations within North America based trading locations; relocation assistance provided if requirements are met)
Demonstrate leadership ability and ability to influence others
Self-starter who is highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Experience in customer service and able to proactively identify and resolve issues
Comfortable taking appropriate risks
Excellent written and verbal skills and detail-oriented in the areas that require analysis
Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with The Andersons internal and external customers
Gain fundamental understanding of local, national, and global cash grain and grain product marketing, trading, and flows
Aid in evaluating changing crop and market conditions
Assist in managing customer relationships, contracts, logistics, data analytics, and other activities
Execute existing and new contracts and agreements
Buying and selling of commodities
Daily analysis of local, national, and global markets
