Candidates should possess an associate degree and a minimum of one year of related customer service call center experience, or a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of customer service call center experience, preferably in the medical industry. Prior experience in an EKG interpretation setting is preferred, along with proficiency in medical terminology and technical skills with case management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Word. Knowledge of cardiology medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines is also required.
As the Clinician Support Liaison, the agent will serve as the primary communicator between cardiac technicians and external accounts, including hospitals, clinicians, and patients, via phone, Outlook, ZioReports, and Salesforce. They will effectively communicate ECG abnormalities by adhering to physician notification protocols and notifying physicians/clinical personnel as required. The agent will perform account follow-ups for additional clinical information, verify process notification MDN criteria, update case status in case management ticket systems, foster communication with internal and external partners, meet performance metrics, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Additionally, they will undertake other duties as assigned, including attending in-office days at least two days a week in San Francisco, CA, and working alternating weekends and shifts.
