Responsibilities

  • Support Canadian media and influencer relations at Wealthsimple
  • Proactively identify compelling narratives that further our business objectives
  • Lead the team’s speaker, events and award strategy in Canada and the US, including research, applications and spokesperson prep
  • Support company news and product release communications as they happen
  • Manage key communications materials, including company-wide messaging and metrics
  • Support relevant client communications, including response and communications strategy for potential issues and incidents
  • Develop on-brand media materials, including press releases, key messaging, briefing materials, pitch notes and more
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media and influencers
  • Always be looking for ways to do it all in a better, smarter, more innovative way
