Strong project management, prioritization, and execution skills are essential, along with a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, takes a hands-on approach, and has experience scaling systems and processes, possessing an analytical mindset to interpret data and influence decisions. Experience in tech, analytics, or high-growth environments is preferred.
The Chief of Staff will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, owning cross-functional initiatives, driving alignment, streamlining processes, and ensuring execution within a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities include partnering with the CEO on strategic roadmaps, planning, and priorities, leading end-to-end cross-functional initiatives such as OKRs and operating cadence, and managing strategic projects. The role involves leading internal communication, structuring meetings, and establishing decision frameworks, as well as tracking performance metrics, interpreting data, and driving informed decisions. Additionally, the Chief of Staff will coordinate the executive team, prepare board materials, manage follow-ups, identify organizational bottlenecks, and lead process improvements. They will also act as a proxy for leadership when needed and liaise with stakeholders across various teams.
Investment analytics and portfolio management tools
Syntax provides financial technology solutions that focus on investment analytics and portfolio management.
