Requirements

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience, likely from startups, consulting, banking, or another fast-paced, analytical environment. They should be comfortable building and working in spreadsheets and financial models, including growth forecasting, headcount modeling, and revenue projections. Strong communication skills via Slack, async docs, and live conversations are required, along with the ability to prioritize competing projects and be resourceful in finding solutions. Experience conducting candidate interviews is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Chief of Staff will own and lead recruiting efforts across the company, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates. They will build and maintain financial models to inform decision-making, partner with leadership on cross-functional projects to ensure completion, and take ambiguous problems and turn them into clear experiments and processes. Additionally, they will own internal operations, from improving team workflows to managing the office and vendors, and jump in wherever the company needs help, such as ordering snacks, coordinating legal documents, or getting a launch over the line. They will also work on real-life projects including revamping the outbound recruiting process, modeling headcount needs, supporting sales, analyzing internal adoption of tools, and structuring product feedback.
