Responsibilities

  • Own annual change business planning activities and budgeting process
  • Use financial measures to value and prioritise change initiatives
  • Review business cases for clarity, accuracy, completeness, benefits viability, and value
  • Manage and report on overall portfolio investment, benefits, realisation, ROI, financial position, and milestone progress
  • Develop and implement portfolio management strategies, policies, and frameworks for successful technology project delivery
  • Oversee management and governance of technology-enabled business change portfolio, prioritising and aligning with business objectives
  • Manage the funnel of proposed technology investments and review new idea submissions for accuracy and viability
  • Set up and chair Group Portfolio Boards
  • Set up and maintain a centre of excellence for programme, project, and change management within Data and Technology
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement with change teams, capturing lessons learned and adapting processes
  • Ensure regular and effective programme and project reviews to monitor delivery on schedule, budget, quality, and benefits
  • Proactively engage with change teams to identify, manage, resolve governance, resourcing, delivery challenges, and escalate risks
  • Anticipate and address potential dependency and schedule conflicts, collaborating with stakeholders
  • Oversee and deliver monthly Data and Technology Change Portfolio reporting
