Driver's License - Upon Hire
Preferred: High School or GED Equivalent
Preferred: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to patients with their activities of daily living
Provides personal care for patients as directed and delegated by the nurse, according to the established plan of care
Provides services such as housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping
Assists patient with social activities as prescribed by the plan of care
Maintains timely and accurate documentation
Reports changes in patient status to supervisor
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served
Uses equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently
Adheres to environmental, safety, and infection policies and procedures
Promote Avera’s values of compassion, hospitality, and stewardship
