Remo Health is seeking a Geriatrician to join our team and play a key role in transforming dementia care. As a virtual provider, Remo designs care around patient and family needs, empowering patients to age in place and caregivers with a supportive community. This role involves leading the clinical team, evaluating patient panels, and collaborating on expanding our care model.

About Us

Remo is building the new standard of dementia care. As a virtual provider, our expert clinical team designs care around patient and family needs (instead of a one-size-fits-all approach). Our care model empowers patients to age in place, surrounded by those they love. We also empower family caregivers with a vibrant community of other caregivers, expert content, and tools to manage the path ahead. With Remo, patients and caregivers get the support they deserve and providers get the job satisfaction they crave.

About the Role

As a Geriatrician, you will report directly to our Medical Director and play an integral role in our ability to pursue our mission by leading the clinical team. The leader in this role will evaluate and manage a panel of follow-up patients with cognitive disorders and their caregivers (dyads), other members of the clinical team, lead educational efforts, and work closely with the Medical Director on hiring and training new providers as we expand to new markets.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Evaluate and manage a panel of patients with cognitive disorders and their caregivers, with the full support of an interdisciplinary team (Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, Social Worker, Care Navigator).
  • Identify areas of improvements in the care model and technical platform so we can continue to improve quality of care, dyad satisfaction, and the provider experience.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Clinical Operations function to deliver on our key clinical KPIs — e.g. quality targets, utilization metrics, patient/provider satisfaction, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to provide memory care training and oversight of new hires.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop, implement, and maintain a curriculum of regular educational conferences for clinical providers (e.g. clinical case conferences and guest lecturers).
  • Collaborate and provide necessary oversight of the interdisciplinary team by staffing questions that arise requiring geriatric expertise.

You May Be a Good Fit

  • Have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Geriatrics with extensive experience caring for older adults.
  • Have expertise in dementia and related cognitive disorders.
  • Have experience with and enjoy working in interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Want to work remotely and see patients by telemedicine.
  • Live for taking a holistic approach to the care of patients with dementia and caregivers.
  • Are passionate about educating families and other clinical providers.
  • Think systematically, breaking down complicated problems into...
