Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in a media agency
  • Proficient in media planning across all channels and understand the role of strategy in implementation
  • Enjoy problem-solving, highly organised, and can juggle multiple campaigns
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and bring numerical astuteness to media buying and optimisation
  • Possess strong communication skills and have a proactive, solutions-driven approach
  • Comfortable with being a very hands-on practitioner (not primarily delegating tasks)
  • Motivated to find new or different ways of doing things
  • Comfortable in non-highly structured environments without multiple layers of management

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day servicing of multiple client accounts, ensuring all needs are met
  • Develop implementation recommendations across all media channels and confidently rationalize strategic choices to clients
  • Manage the financial health of accounts, including negotiations with media partners, tracking contracts, and ensuring accurate invoicing
  • Work collaboratively with other agency departments and external stakeholders (e.g., Creative, PR, Auditors) to deliver cohesive, on-time work
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and media partners while maintaining an informed point of view on market conditions
  • Actively manage and mentor direct reports, identifying skills gaps and ensuring best practices are maintained within the team
