Position Overview

360Learning is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our DACH team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating high-potential sales opportunities within 360Learning's top priority accounts in the DACH region. You will act as the primary point of contact for these accounts, qualifying inbound and outbound leads to create business opportunities for our DACH Account Executives. Leveraging cutting-edge sales development techniques and tools, you will play a crucial role in building a robust sales pipeline by engaging prospects, identifying pain points, understanding customer context, and presenting the 360Learning value proposition. You will evangelize collaborative learning within the market.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads within your assigned territory.
  • Pitch the 360Learning product to interested prospects.
  • Detect customer pain points and understand their context to identify how 360Learning can assist.
  • Evangelize collaborative learning in the market and present the 360Learning value proposition.
  • Collaborate closely with your coach, marketing operations, demand generation, and sales teams.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas for Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality and contribute innovative lead generation ideas.
  • Research trends and best practices for creating interest and engagement.
  • Contribute as a subject-matter expert on the 360Learning platform and share knowledge with the organization.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new team members.

Onboarding & Growth Milestones

Within 1 month:

  • Complete onboarding and begin core BDR role.
  • Master the pitch and qualification methodology.
  • Start qualifying leads and create your first opportunities for Account Executives (AEs).

Within 3 months:

  • Fully master the tool stack and ramp up.
  • Act as a partner to the Account Executives.
  • Qualify your first SQL opportunities.
  • Master prioritizing inbound and outbound leads pipeline and forecasting performance.
  • Polish qualification methods to an advanced level.
  • Master tool stack including SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, etc.

Within 6 months:

  • Be fully ramped on inbound and outbound methodologies.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly SQL quotas.
  • Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality and bring innovative lead generation ideas to weekly meetings.
  • Research trends and best practices for creating interest and engagement.

Within 12 months:

  • Contribute as a subject-matter expert on the 360Learning platform and share knowledge with the organization.
  • Be involved in the onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

  • First experience in a B2B SaaS environment, as a BDR, SDR, or Inside Sales.
  • Previous experience in inbound lead generation and/or outbound prospecting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active listening skills, ability to uncover customer needs, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Native German proficiency.
  • Fluent English proficiency (B2 level or equivalent).

Preferred but not mandatory:

  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, and Gong.
