Requirements

Candidates should have at least 1 year of prior experience as a Business Development Representative in a SaaS environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a willingness to make cold calls. A self-motivated attitude and a commitment to meet or exceed goals with a proven history of high achievement are required. Candidates should also be willing to work during EST business hours, and a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in life sciences is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative will prospect new leads and create positive first impressions with potential customers and partners while building a pipeline for account executives and senior management. They will follow up and qualify inbound requests via telephone and email, organize and prioritize sales leads in CRM, and measure lead conversion against quota. The representative will become an expert in BioRender’s software, leverage prospecting tools to research companies, develop customized pitches, and work with Account Executives to drive outbound prospecting activities. Additionally, they will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive attendance at BioRender field events.
