Candidates should have at least 7 years of enterprise software sales or business development experience in Europe with a proven track record of full-cycle, quota-carrying success. Experience in security/IT tooling or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with public sector procurement in the EU/UK, strong analytical and commercial skills, and excellent communication abilities are required. Fluency in English is mandatory, with French and/or German strongly preferred, and other European languages being a bonus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter aligned with Mozilla's values.
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for generating pipeline and managing full-cycle deals for Firefox Enterprise across Europe, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing. This involves building a self-sourced pipeline, engaging with IT stakeholders through tailored demos and account strategies, and navigating procurement and regulatory reviews. The role includes driving land-and-expand motions, developing early playbooks for repeatable success, maintaining CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting, collaborating with marketing on demand generation, representing Mozilla at industry events, and building a network of European channel partners. A key responsibility is championing Mozilla's privacy-first values and ensuring regulatory compliance.
