Candidates should have proven experience in a client-facing or sales role, ideally within the clinical research or life sciences sector, with at least 5 years of experience in clinical research or related fields such as clinical recruitment or talent acquisition. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, and additional languages are considered a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and understanding client needs, are essential, along with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Analytical thinking and close attention to detail are also necessary.
The Business Development Manager will proactively identify and engage potential clients through various channels, including online research, conferences, referrals, and cold outreach, to expand the Biometrics client base and build lasting relationships with stakeholders. They will schedule and lead discovery calls, present tailored solutions, collaborate with the VP of Biometrics Outsourcing and the Operations team, develop a deep understanding of service offerings and industry trends, and contribute to revenue targets by converting leads into opportunities and closing deals. Additionally, they will track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback, and support internal alignment and knowledge sharing across teams.
