Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in billing, collections, or finance operations, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth startup environment. Hands-on experience with Stripe and NetSuite is required, along with a strong understanding of billing systems and accounting fundamentals. Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment are essential. Experience with SaaS billing models, Salesforce, Avalara, and scaling billing processes in a startup are considered bonuses.

Responsibilities

The Billing Analyst will manage the end-to-end billing and collections processes, including setting up customer subscriptions, issuing invoices, and reconciling payments. They will monitor the billing queue, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to maintain customer subscription plans. Responsibilities also include overseeing collections, investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, supporting month-end close and audits, and identifying and driving improvements in billing systems and processes, including sales tax compliance.
