Responsibilities
The Benefits Manager will oversee and administer employee benefits programs, focusing on compliance, operations, and employee experience across leave of absence, accommodations, life events, COBRA, and payroll auditing. Responsibilities include managing all LOA processes, serving as the liaison with leave and disability vendors, overseeing accommodations, administering life event changes, COBRA, and long-term disability benefits, and ensuring compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and other regulations. The role involves maintaining benefit documentation, managing vendor relationships, partnering with internal stakeholders, supporting open enrollment, serving as an escalation point for employee benefits questions, and ensuring timely and accurate communication of benefit information.
