Requirements

  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in corporate & investment banking
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably Master’s degree); strong academic track record (preferred fields: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics)
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written German
  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish language skills optional
  • Basic financial modeling skills
  • Understanding of company valuations

Responsibilities

  • Act as a consistent point of contact for Santander’s Global Banking team, providing service support to clients
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of transactions for the Banking & Corporate Finance team
  • Perform financial and strategic business analysis on sectors, competitors, and customers
  • Prepare client presentations and support coverage and product-related initiatives
  • Redact and deliver client business plans, monitoring client profitability and revenue targets
  • Work with different Senior Bankers and Product Specialists to develop business opportunities
  • Assist in preparing credit documentation and supporting risk & business committees
