They should have experience in managing accounts in FMCG, Beauty and Wellness, Pharma, or other General Trade Industries. A proven track record in B2B account management, preferably within the transport or logistics industry, is required. Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations, processes, and technologies is essential, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
The Account Manager will cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients while driving business growth and revenue. They will assist the Senior Account Manager in maintaining client relationships, coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations, and maintain accurate records of client interactions. Monitoring the progress of orders and shipments, addressing delays, and resolving operational issues will be key tasks. The Account Manager will also support upsell and cross-sell opportunities and assist in preparing sales presentations and business reviews for client meetings.
