A minimum of 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-level marketing initiatives with multiple direct reports is required. Proven ability to influence business partners in setting long-term marketing plans to meet business objectives, a strong understanding of healthcare markets, member engagement, and the regulatory environment, and experience leveraging marketing analytics, segmentation, and performance measurement are essential. Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills are also necessary. A Master's degree or certification in Marketing Strategy, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management, along with experience in Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial health plan marketing and a background in agile marketing planning or enterprise transformation are preferred.
The Associate Vice President of Product Marketing will drive product marketing strategy across various lines of business and member segments, leading the development of product marketing strategies for Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and specialty products. This role involves directing go-to-market planning, including positioning, messaging, segmentation, and launch strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally with Product Development, Brand, Sales, and Analytics. Responsibilities include establishing performance frameworks to measure product marketing effectiveness, member engagement, and business impact, as well as driving innovation and optimization to improve speed-to-market, personalization, and competitive differentiation. The AVP will also mentor and lead a team of product marketers to foster strategic thinking, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring Humana's products are clearly understood, effectively promoted, and deeply connected to member needs.
