Engagement Director - North America

Position Overview

TetraScience is seeking an elite Engagement Director for key accounts in North America. This role is responsible for driving renewal numbers, ensuring successful implementation delivery, and maximizing value realization for our customers. You will also collaborate closely with Account Executives and Pre-sales TAMs to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities.

As TetraScience rapidly evolves its platform and introduces new value creation paths with new SKUs and personas, we need an uncompromising and results-driven leader to deliver scientific and operational value and expand our customer base.

Who You Are

You are a customer-centric individual who can anticipate needs and is passionate about delivering value within the high-inertia Life Sciences industry. You must fundamentally embody the principles of extreme ownership and have a proven history of building and leading high-performing delivery or engagement teams. You will have demonstrable experience managing critical activities of your delivery teams and a track record of consistently delivering complex data solutions in challenging scenarios. You are a top-tier communicator, capable of telling compelling stories even in difficult situations, and will act as a forward-deployed captain to ensure customer success regardless of obstacles.

It is important to note that we are in the category creation and evangelism phase. This role requires extreme self-discipline and determination as we forge a category that will fundamentally change the life sciences industry. You will not be following a strict playbook or acting as a siloed people manager.

Requirements

What You Have Done

• 7+ years in delivery leadership roles within the Life Sciences software and data market, with expertise in at least two of the following three areas:
  • Discovery/Early-Stage Development
  • Late-Stage Development/CMC
  • Manufacturing/QC
• 3+ years in management consulting.
• Experience working in startup environments.
• Led teams to successfully deploy solutions in the top 250 bio/pharma cohort (not just biotech).
• Delivered complex enterprise deals ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions in ARR per deal.
• Expanded customer land deals ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions in ACV.
• Demonstrated strong program leadership skills, including navigating difficult periods with delivery team(s).
• Delivered solutions within GxP-compliant areas.
• Coached and mentored Engagement, Project, Program, and/or Customer Success Managers who achieved significant success with your guidance.
