College degree or college coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources or related area preferred
One-year Human Resources administrative support experience or Human Resource college coursework required
Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills; ability to interact with associates at all levels
Attention to detail, strong data entry skills and effective organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources is highly preferred
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required, and prior experience with HRIS/HRMS preferred
Ability to manage in a fast paced and energetic environment
Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers and lead by example
Attention to details and a commitment to timely responses as needed

Responsibilities
Manage the full cycle recruiting process in Workday: posting jobs, conducting interviews, coordinating final interviews with store leadership, completing job offers and onboarding processing
Set up and conduct orientation for store as needed
Partner with local HR Business Partner to post or add hiring events or added resources to staff as needed
Manage the first 90 days of employment for new hires to validate training and drive engaged team; measured by early stage retention
Full ownership of store engagement programs, including recognition conducted on a daily, weekly and period basis
Compliance ownership at store/location level: process timely terminations, I-9 processing, maintain current and compliant Minor Binder (Work Permits), support scheduling and Kronos reporting
Own the off-stage locations in store for the associate experience (e.g., break rooms, office, training spaces)
Based on volume and need, serve in the capacity of Person-In-Charge for portion of weekly schedules
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Drive internal employee engagement initiatives to support a people first culture, including support for hiring process, orientation, training, safety, compliance, and excellent store communications
