Requirements

A Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree is preferred. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience managing a team of Utilization Management (UM) Nurses at a Health plan or IRO is required. Candidates must be an RN, preferably with a BSN or higher, and have experience with Utilization Management standards and guidelines. Experience leading an operational unit/division, ensuring customer service goals are met, and achieving profitability goals and objectives is necessary. Exceptional communication skills, critical thinking abilities, efficient time management, and computer literacy are essential. Remote employees must supply and support their own internet services and maintain an uninterrupted connection.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Director of Group Health is responsible for overall client satisfaction and growth of the Group Health Division. They will ensure the delivery of key client metrics including Turnaround Time (TAT), Quality, P2P success, and overturn rate. This role involves leading the Operations Management Team, overseeing operational procedures, attracting, recruiting, and retaining team members, and collaborating with Group Health Operations Teams on quality audits and process improvements. The position also requires recommending development initiatives to enhance technology usage, reconciling client outcomes reports and issue logs, managing the Profit and Loss of the Division, and working with the National Medical Director on the physician panel. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
