Requirements
Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification (required and must be maintained in good standing)
May require yearly certification for a forklift license
In Florida, must obtain a qualifier certification through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for retail propane oversight (BJ’s covers cost and training)
Strong business acumen through strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction within the club and drive club performance, particularly for directly managed departments (Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience)
Ensure consistent execution of policies and procedures, positive member service experience, and Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) standard club conditions
Develop talent, display leadership, and deliver results consistently
Lead audit compliance efforts and drive collaboration with Business Partners (BPs)
Oversee onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) for the club as needed, taking full responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and member engagement during assigned shifts
Foster a culture of growth by actively developing team members through collaboration, coaching, and empowerment; encourage continuous learning and opportunities for success
Teach, coach, and lead team members through training, feedback, and on-the-job coaching
Drive a values-based culture promoting strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and inclusion
