Position Overview

Abbott Neuromodulation is seeking an Area Sales Trainer to develop and implement comprehensive training programs, education, and tools for U.S. Customer Service, U.S. Field Personnel, and customers. This role is crucial for ensuring trainees understand processes, procedures, policies, and customer experience excellence. The Area Sales Trainer will be responsible for compliance with all applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. As a member of the Global Sales Training Team, this individual will assess and analyze new hire strengths and weaknesses in clinical, procedural, and business acumen, as well as their understanding of treatment algorithms within the chronic pain management industry, to implement effective training curriculums.

What You’ll Work On

  • Implement training curriculums by assessing and analyzing individual new hire strengths and weaknesses in clinical, procedural, and business acumen, as well as their understanding of chronic pain management treatment algorithms.
  • Stay informed about changes impacting training requirements and needs by actively seeking information that may affect processes, policies for Customer Service and Field Personnel, and ultimately the customer.
  • Monitor trends and advancements in business training methodologies and implement necessary changes and improvements to training protocols and materials.
  • Collaborate with the Global Sales Training team to develop the approach, scope, and methodology of training materials, considering target audience, time, and location requirements to maximize impact and minimize training time.
  • Coordinate training activities, making all necessary logistical arrangements for resources and tools.
  • Deliver training sessions as required to meet customer needs, commercial and marketing strategies, product knowledge requirements, regulatory compliance, and Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and update training requirements and records to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Work with the management team to ensure post-training results meet organizational targets and expectations by collecting and analyzing post-training data.
