Position Overview

As a Sales Representative in the Sales Department, you will be responsible for maximizing market share in your assigned region. This role involves expanding market share by introducing Neogen solutions to food processors, collaborating with internal stakeholders and distributors.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Market Expansion:
    • Expand market share by introducing Neogen solutions to mainly food processors in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Technical Service, Key Account Sales, Business Development Sales, Marketing, and Operations) and distributors.
    • Analyze sales and market share of the assigned region and customers.
    • Develop sales and activity plans based on analysis results and manage progress to achieve sales targets.
    • Find new accounts through local account information, distributors, and marketing leads.
    • Propose solutions to new target accounts.
  • Customer Engagement and Growth:
    • Increase engagement with existing customers.
    • Maintain sales and conduct up-sell and cross-sell activities utilizing a broad product lineup.
  • Distributor Management:
    • Build relationships with local distributors and obtain agreements.
    • Track progress with distributors to expand market share in your area.
  • Collaboration and Information Sharing:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Technical Service, Key Account Sales, Business Development Sales, Marketing, and Operations) and distributors.
    • Share information obtained through your activities (especially competitive information and information on customers with manufacturing bases in other areas) with the entire organization.
    • Contribute to cross-organizational activities to maximize the company's overall profits.
  • Professional Development:
    • Actively participate in Neogen events for customers, distributors, and internal events.
    • Actively participate in internal and external training programs to acquire industry and product knowledge and improve sales skills.
