Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in a territory management sales and service role
  • Impressive track record in sales & service including strong closing & negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple products to hundreds of customers
  • Proven ability to close and manage relationships – both in person and over phone
  • Strong time management and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Servicing an account base of approximately 375 member florists by representing Teleflora and establishing relationships as a key account manager with owners and decision makers
  • Identifying and selling prospective florists within the territory on the value proposition and benefits of being a Teleflora Member Florist
  • Selling Teleflora’s suite of services to both current and new members primarily consisting of eFlorist Web Hosting, Credit Card Processing, Point-of-Sale Shop Management Systems and other products as necessary
  • Providing consistent and focused retention efforts for membership as well as retention efforts across Teleflora’s suite of services
  • Maintaining professional and industry knowledge by attending floral industry programs as necessary
  • Understanding and utilizing internal sales tools (including Sales Dashboard and CRM), member statements, data and reports to maximize sales and retention and prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to member and prospective florists
  • Establishing a daily, efficient operating rhythm characterized by a disciplined approach to the job and a steadfast commitment to targets & objectives
  • Educating florists on Teleflora products to drive engagement across Teleflora’s suite of services and to help florists achieve greater customer satisfaction through increased profitability
  • Maintaining frequent and consistent business contact with florists to strengthen their relationship and engagement with Teleflora and regular business contact with internal support groups including Sales Operations, Customer Advocacy, Customer Service and Industry Relations
  • Working with Regional Vice President to provide leadership in identifying opportunities within the territory and strategize the best approach to exceeding individual and company targets
  • Collaborating with peers on best practices and techniques to help the team succeed
  • 25%-50% overnight travel as required
  • Additional duties as needed
