Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of direct experience in an Accounts Receivable role. A strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting is required. High proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas for data entry and analysis, is necessary. Experience with NetSuite or Maxio is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, a resourceful and self-starting approach, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.

Responsibilities

The AR/AP Specialist will manage daily Accounts Receivable activities, including processing payments and financial records in Maxio and NetSuite. This role involves coordinating local deposits by visiting the Jacksonville Beach office 2-3 times per week to process mail and deposit checks. The specialist will handle customer collections, send collection emails, and partner with Customer Success Managers to resolve outstanding balances and billing questions. They will also serve as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries, manage the billing inbox, and address customer questions. Responsibilities include monitoring Accounts Receivable aging, generating bi-weekly reports, ensuring financial record accuracy, and assisting with Accounts Payable processing with a three-way match. The role also entails performing basic monthly reconciliations, assisting with ad-hoc financial reporting, supporting internal and external audits, handling incoming mail, and supporting the People Operations team with administrative tasks.
