Candidates should have experience in the automotive or financial industry, and experience working with or managing offshore development teams. Familiarity with web and application servers, NoSQL databases like MongoDB and MySQL, system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, business processes, and the software development lifecycle is required. Knowledge of ITIL-based IT service management best practices, cloud-based computing (specifically AWS), and experience summarizing information visually through presentations are also necessary. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in a product owner or business analyst type of role, experience working with outsourced third-party suppliers, and experience translating requirements and design into technical solutions. Candidates must also have experience working with technology and business SMEs to document as-is and to-be processes and data requirements, and understand policy compliance requirements for SOX and Audit.
As the Application Owner, you will be the expert on how the application functions and will evolve its configuration to meet changing needs. You will support application management for ongoing enhancement and maintenance, including scope management. Your duties include obtaining requirements and change requests for function, basic software, SW architecture, interfaces, and communication. You will prioritize and plan the development of app features and releases according to the business goals, and lead the delivery and maintenance of the product by guiding internal and external teams. You will also manage application controls, service levels, access rights, and overall operations, and lead support for production issues. Partnering with other departments for alignments and dependencies, understanding and documenting application architectures, and supporting audit teams in remediating issues are key responsibilities. You will also participate in internal/external audits by gathering samples and submitting required documentation.
