The Financial Data Application Specialist role at AlphaSense lives at the intersection of sales, customer success, and technical implementation for AlphaSense’s financial data products. This is a new team at AlphaSense supporting a strategic area of investment for the business, so we are looking for entrepreneurial minded people that can use learnings from client discussions to help optimize both our go-to-market and product strategies. Specialists add value across our revenue organization by building relationships with prospects and clients, providing deep technical knowledge to demonstrate the value of AlphaSense’s financial data while helping to drive adoption. Due to the extensive exposure that Specialists have with clients, they’re also in a prime location to partner with our sales, product, marketing and leadership teams in determining future product developments that will resonate with the market.

Responsibilities

Growth Initiatives:

• Assist sales in demos and strategic trials of AlphaSense’s financial data solutions.
• Run trial training calls, overcoming common objections and communicating our value proposition.

Customer Health:

• Work hand in hand with account management, speaking with and visiting users.
• Provide advanced training, customizations, and product consultations.
• Drive adoption by building custom templates or other bespoke modeling tools for customers.

Subject Matter Expert:

• Demonstrate expertise in quantitative analysis for investment and valuation decisions.
• Package knowledge for utilization by sales and account management (e.g., how-to videos, enablement materials).

Product Direction:

• Field feedback and identify product opportunities based on customer interactions.
• Relay information across the organization (account management, account executives, product, management).

Support:

• Act as an escalation point for product and support teams on difficult scenarios customers may face with our solutions, particularly when leveraging Excel Add-ins.
• Manage and resolve challenges related to the full integration of our modeling solutions into clients’ workflows.
