Multiple Roles - Data Visualization Student Support

Position Overview

• Location Type: Remote

• Salary: Hourly (In Colorado, the anticipated hourly rate will be provided during the interview process)
• Description: edX, part of 2U Inc., is seeking Teaching Assistants, Tutors, Learning Assistants, and Graders to support students enrolled in University Bootcamps globally. These roles provide direct support to students through various channels (Zoom, Slack, and structured schedules) and contribute to a transformative learning experience. The program focuses on skills-based training and career advancement.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 6 months of experience related to the specific program you wish to interview for (some roles may require more than 6 months experience).
• Technology Familiarity: Some familiarity with most or all of the program technologies listed above for your program of choice.
• Time Management: Excellent time-management skills are required.
• Internet Connection: A stable internet connection is essential.
• Flexibility: Flexibility in schedule is necessary.
• US Work Authorization: Internal and External Candidates must be authorized to work in the US to qualify for a Central Support Role.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Assistants: Present during class hours and assist instructors in facilitating lessons, providing valuable resources to students during project group work sessions.
• Tutors: Provide 1:1 support to students enrolled in University Bootcamps via Zoom, scheduling sessions based on student needs and availability.
• Learning Assistants: Support students enrolled in University Bootcamps via Slack on a structured schedule (with multi-shift options).
• Graders: Provide students with assignment grades and detailed, clear feedback that supports their learning journey, maintaining a flexible schedule.
