Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company (B2B) and a working knowledge of technical infrastructure including web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories. A Bachelor's degree or global equivalent is preferred, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Python, Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, Azure/AWS/GCP, and modern SaaS architecture is desirable, as is an understanding or desire to learn various AI components. Experience with enterprise applications such as Identity Governance, HCM, ERP, or CRM is also required. Residence in the Central states (TX, MN, OK, IL) is preferred, and flexibility for up to 25% travel within the US, primarily in the Central US, is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Advisory Solutions Consultant will act as a trusted advisor to strategic accounts, bridging SailPoint's identity solutions with client needs by partnering with sales to translate complex identity challenges into clear business outcomes. Responsibilities include mastering the identity security landscape, delivering compelling demos and proof-of-value sessions, and representing SailPoint at industry events. The role involves building strong relationships across Sales, Product, Services, and Partners, creating and refining technical collateral, and speaking confidently about compliance frameworks like SOX, NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, the consultant will discover and understand customer requirements, align solutions accordingly, support RFPs, and participate in remote and onsite evaluations.
