Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2-5 Years relevant work experience
  • Skills in Advertising and Customer Experience (CX)
  • Ability to analyze confidential information and prepare reports, manuals, agendas, and general correspondence
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
  • Understanding of Operating Principles and commitment to customer experience, technology advocacy, teamwork, Net Promoter System, driving results, inclusion & diversity

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop, and present market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products
  • Assist in developing marketing activities to generate local ad sales revenue
  • Interact with various internal departments to carry out client requirements, such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities and manage collections
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in development of sales forecasts
  • Complete required documentation and reporting for contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports
  • Seek new customers by continuously prospecting following company's planned sales strategies and tactics
  • Develop, service, and maintain a base of local clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or media services to achieve annual sales goals
  • Offer zone buying to allow small advertisers to reach customers in their retail trading areas
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
  • Other duties as assigned
