The Accounting Manager, Revenue will develop, implement, and maintain revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. They will prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close, focusing on healthcare revenue components like contractual allowances, patient bad debt, and unbilled revenue. Responsibilities include preparing GAAP footnote disclosures related to revenue, collaborating with other teams for accurate revenue recognition, and supporting external audit requests. The role also involves preparing and analyzing revenue reports, investigating variances, identifying opportunities for process enhancement through automation and technology, and providing guidance to staff on revenue-related matters.
