Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a similar industry role. Proficiency in ASC 606 within a SaaS company is highly preferred, along with exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Public accounting experience with a Big 4 or comparable firm is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Accounting Manager will oversee the monthly closing and reporting of revenue, accounts receivable, allowances, and deferred revenue in accordance with ASC 606. This role involves reviewing journal entries, flux analyses, and account reconciliations, as well as conducting account analyses to explain revenue-related variances. The manager will lead the daily operations of the revenue accounting team, focusing on process improvement and automation, and collaborate with sales, finance, and deal teams. They will also coordinate with business stakeholders on technical accounting for new products and partner with technical accounting and controls teams to ensure GAAP and controls compliance. Additionally, the manager will support change initiatives, collaborate on process automation with the controls and systems team, and supervise, train, and mentor accounting team members.
