Requirements

  • Graduates in Food Science (Licenciatura or Ingeniería de Alimentos) and/or Chemistry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Intermediate level of English
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal relationship management, and negotiation skills
  • Autonomy and initiative
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Meet established sales objectives and customer satisfaction goals
  • Satisfy customer needs through quality service to retain and build loyalty among assigned clients
  • Achieve sales targets. Conduct customer prospecting to develop new business and close new sales
  • Perform hygiene process assessments in client and potential client facilities. Prepare proposals and quotes for hygiene programs
  • Plan and conduct service visits
  • Install and maintain Ecolab dosing systems and equipment, actively participate in starting cleaning programs, and follow up on ongoing programs
  • Provide training and advice to client personnel for effective management of products and cleaning programs
  • Develop relationships with clients and associates. Follow up on commitments to clients. Address client needs and emergencies
  • Update Sales Tracking tool biweekly. Update monthly Product Forecast
  • Inform clients of price increases. Prepare Client Onboarding and Price Onboarding forms
  • Prepare requests for equipment, samples, and spare parts, and follow up on their processing
