Candidates should possess 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, with a preference for expertise in cloud, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, and SaaS. They must demonstrate a proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close new client relationships at the CxO level within Public Sector organizations, along with an extensive and reliable network of key decision-makers and partners in the Public Sector. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have a track record of building and expanding substantial business with Public Sector clients ($3m+ ARR) and possess excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
As an Account Executive, SLED at Snowflake, the individual will develop strategic relationships, identify and close new business opportunities within Public Sector organizations, and serve as a trusted advisor to the customer at the most senior levels. They will drive thought leadership by understanding customer roadmaps, propose solutions, collaborate with marketing and partners, manage complex sales processes, challenge the customer’s status-quo, and proactively build a business from scratch in new customer fields. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining customer confidentiality and adhering to Snowflake’s data security standards and plan.
