Role: Account Executive, Public Sector, SLED

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic relationships and identify/close new business opportunities within Public Sector organizations at the federal and state level.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers at senior levels, driving thought leadership by understanding their IT roadmaps to integrate the Snowflake solution.
  • Challenge the status quo of customer operations and propose solutions aligned with their digital transformation roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the partner organization to create high-level plans for revenue growth.
  • Master a solution-based selling approach and manage complex sales processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of full-cycle sales experience, with a preference for cloud, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, and SaaS.
  • Proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close new client relationships at the CxO level within Public Sector organizations.
  • Extensive and reliable network with key decision-makers and partners in the Public Sector.
  • Experience building relationships with Economic Buyers and Executive Sponsors.
  • Deep understanding of how Public Sector organizations scout, select, procure, and implement innovative technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of building and expanding substantial business with Public Sector clients ($3m+ ARR).
  • Mastered a solution-based selling approach with experience managing complex sales processes.
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Possess drive, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit to build business in new customer fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
