Dataminr is seeking a Senior Account Executive to sell Cybersecurity & Physical Security solutions to high-profile US SLED accounts. This role involves delivering impactful solutions, exceeding quotas, and building strong customer relationships. It’s a US-based remote position with travel requirements within California.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of full sales cycle experience selling enterprise cybersecurity technology solutions to SLED clients in California.
  • Sales Style: Hunter by nature, with expertise in prospecting via multiple channels (cold calling, channel partners, LinkedIn, networking).
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build relationships with senior cyber buyers and leverage networks for introductions.
  • Strategic Selling: Expertise in account planning and a clear sales process (MEDDPICC preferred).
  • Quota Achievement: History of consistent quota achievement and delivering against targets.
  • Understanding of Complex Sales: Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and business drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and execute detailed sales campaigns to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, strategic networking, and leveraging partners.
  • Cultivate and sustain valuable client relationships.
  • Develop comprehensive insights into customer use cases, internal decision-making processes, and budget cycles.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and position Dataminr’s solutions effectively.
  • Provide valuable feedback to cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering) for product enhancements.
