Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in account management or sales, with a strong preference for experience in the cybersecurity or physical security industries. Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and building strong customer relationships is essential, along with the ability to navigate complex enterprise deals. Familiarity with the SLED (State, Local, Tribal, and Educational) market is highly desirable, and candidates should be located in or have strong ties to the Midwest region (Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, or Wisconsin).

Responsibilities

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for selling Dataminr’s Cybersecurity & Physical Security solutions to high-profile SLED accounts, delivering unique and impactful solutions while exceeding sales quotas and establishing strong customer relationships. They will also build a robust sales pipeline, leverage channel partners, cultivate deep customer insights, conduct competitive analysis, and provide valuable product feedback to internal teams.
