Candidates must have 8 to 10 years of field sales experience selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives. Experience selling within the Federal space, specifically to the U.S. Space Force and U.S. Air Force, is required, along with demonstrable experience in executing enterprise complex sales strategies within Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML. Familiarity with a solution-based selling approach, experience managing complex sales processes, and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills are essential. The ability to build and execute sales plans to meet strategic and financial targets, leveraging industry, partner, and Go-to-Market knowledge, is also necessary. Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships and experience hitting multi-million dollar revenue targets annually are required. Employees are expected to follow company confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
The Account Executive will prospect, develop, and close net new business within the U.S. Space Force and U.S. Air Force, while delivering mission outcomes for current customers. Responsibilities include becoming an expert on Snowflake's product, conducting discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations, and acting as a trusted advisor by understanding customer mission needs to drive Snowflake solutions. The role involves qualifying prospects, developing new sales opportunities, and managing ongoing revenue streams, as well as landing, adopting, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities within the assigned region. Achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas through a developed sales strategy and target prospect list is a key responsibility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance is also required.
