Requirements

  • Strategic and motivated sales leader capable of driving growth across institutional investors, asset managers, and service providers primarily in Brazil, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Canada
  • Proficiency in Portuguese strongly preferred due to focus on Brazil (not required)
  • Ability to lead the full sales cycle, including identifying, developing, and closing new subscription agreements
  • Experience managing and expanding existing client relationships, executing strategic account plans, and delivering against growth targets
  • Capability to retain and grow existing account revenue while meeting or exceeding monthly net sales quotas
  • Comfortable providing detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations (in person preferred, or via phone)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites/events/conferences
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with product, marketing, customer services, customer success, and sales development teams

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across BlackRock teams to approach clients as “One BlackRock,” ensuring unified, strategic engagement and maximizing client impact
  • Manage the full sales process from beginning to end, securing introductions with decision makers, providing user support, and achieving/surpassing sales quotas
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined sales territory, including new prospective customers and expansion within existing customer base
  • Provide prospective new business clients with an understanding of Preqin’s products and offerings while developing new relationships with key stakeholders at each firm
  • Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for client subscription relationships, focusing on expansion opportunities, subscription renewals, proactive/consultative client support, high retention, and net revenue growth
  • Provide clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations (in person preferred, or via phone)
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to prioritize customer and firm interests, including close engagement with product, marketing, customer services, customer success, and sales development teams
  • Provide actionable customer feedback to key stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and research
