Role Summary

The Account Executive, Mid-Market (MM), is responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring and managing relationships with mid-market clients. This role involves understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, negotiating contracts, securing new business, and expanding existing accounts. The Account Executive, MM, reports to the Manager, Account Executive, MM, and is crucial for significant revenue growth and meeting client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and own a targeted account list.
  • Develop a territory plan for acquiring business with prospective companies.
  • Manage the customer buying journey from start to finish, providing guidance and subject matter expertise.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets.
  • Continuously develop a robust sales pipeline through individual outreach, collaboration with sales development representatives, and management of inbound prospects.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data.

Qualifications

  • Geographically based in Australia.
  • Over 4 years of experience in sales and account management.
  • At least 2 years of experience focused on new business acquisition within the Mid-Market/Commercial segment.
  • Proven track record of closing deals valued at $100,000+ within organizations of 200-2000 employees.
  • Demonstrated success in developing a greenfield territory, executing across the full sales cycle, and adding net new logos.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to ensure Customer Success and Satisfaction.
  • Desire to work for a fast-paced startup and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
