Snowflake is seeking a qualified Account Executive with industry expertise to join our expanding Enterprise sales team. This role involves creative prospecting to pursue net new business and expand existing customer relationships. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing business, focusing on client requirements. This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to significant projects. Success in this role requires autonomy, accountability, and openness to new perspectives and ideas. Our team is driven by curiosity and a commitment to innovation in meeting customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on Snowflake’s product and conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps to drive the Snowflake solution.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities within your assigned region.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by developing and executing a sales strategy for your territory, including a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market.
  • Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics within one of the following spaces: Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML.
  • Familiarity with a solution-based selling approach.
  • Experience managing a complex sales process.
  • Excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and grow business by defining and executing sales plans to meet strategic and financial targets, leveraging industry, partner, and Go-to-Market knowledge.
  • Ability to provide open, honest, and respectful feedback, fostering an inclusive work environment.
  • A reputation for "Making Each Other Better," resulting in long-standing relationships with internal cross-functional partners and the ability to create an inclusive work environment.
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
  • Experience hitting multi-million dollar revenue targets on an annual basis.
