Candidates must have 6+ years of sales experience with consistent success meeting or exceeding sales objectives selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market. Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics within Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML is required. Familiarity with a solution-based approach to selling, managing a complex sales process, and excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management capabilities are essential. The ability to build the product and company as if it were your own, define and execute sales plans to meet strategic and financial targets, and leverage industry, partner, and Go-to-Market knowledge is expected. A proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships, and experience hitting multi-million dollar revenue targets annually are necessary. Candidates must be located in Indiana or Michigan and adhere to company confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
The Account Executive will prospect, develop, and close net new business and expand business for current customers within their assigned region. They will become an expert on Snowflake's product, conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations, and act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake solution. Responsibilities include prospecting qualification, developing new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams, landing, adopting, expanding, and deepening sales opportunities, and achieving sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy and target prospect list. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance. Employees are expected to keep customer information secure and confidential.
