  • Description: The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. This role focuses on prospecting, developing, and closing business while understanding client requirements. The AE must confidently negotiate and close agreements, and support new customers through onboarding. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-visibility projects at a rapidly growing, customer-focused company.

Requirements

  • Education: BA/BS required.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of field sales experience preferred, with an emphasis on data or cloud related technology.
    • 5+ years of experience focused on generating new business within Enterprise accounts.
  • Sales Performance:
    • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
    • Experience hitting quota of $800k+ of ARR per year and averaging 8+ face-to-face meetings per week.
  • Skills:
    • New business sales focus
    • Determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions
    • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Develop a sales strategy and regional sales plan.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor to customers, understanding their IT roadmap and driving the Snowflake solution.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities.
  • Arrange and conduct Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  • Manage the sales process and close agreements.
  • Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams.
