Ability to establish and strengthen government customer outreach
Capability to build Danaher as a trusted partner for related ministries and secure high-level government support

Experience in initiating and managing cooperation programs/MoUs with close communication with Danaher internal stakeholders to maximize business impact

Responsibilities

Oversee external affairs for the Jiangxi, Anhui, and Fujian regions, providing comprehensive support to the business needs of Danaher's diagnostic, life science, and biotechnology platforms; develop regional external affairs strategies, implementation plans, and evaluate outcomes
Establish and maintain strong cooperative relationships with regional medical insurance bureaus, Health Commissions, and strategic hospitals to provide customers with comprehensive solutions and deliver company value; manage interactions concerning medical service items, medical insurance payment methods, collections, and other market access-related activities
Stay abreast of all relevant policies and plans related to medical insurance and healthcare in the region, focusing on policies related to the in vitro diagnostic industry; assist the company in formulating and implementing medium- to long-term strategies aligned with business development to support growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with regional departments such as the Department of Commerce, Department of Science and Technology, and Department of Industry and Information Technology, as well as industrial parks; collaborate with ExA colleagues to support execution of group strategy
Maintain effective communication channels with industry associations and research institutions, fostering robust communication with the government to convey corporate needs and create a favorable external environment
Engage in thorough communication with Opco to understand requirements, provide policy guidance for business development by integrating national and local policies, and explore new business opportunities through policy advocacy
Collect and analyze policy information related to the medical field in the regions under responsibility
