Proven track record negotiating favorable terms with utility companies and resolving operational challenges
Strong understanding of utility operations, policies, and regulatory environments

Ability to travel nationally as needed to manage relationships and projects

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with utility companies to support nationwide deployments
Negotiate contracts, access agreements, and service terms that facilitate efficient project execution
Identify and resolve potential operational or regulatory obstacles with utilities to ensure timely deployments
Collaborate closely with internal teams including Permitting, CAD, Project Management, Product Operations & Regional Operations to align utility strategies with project needs
Monitor utility trends, policies, and operational changes that may impact Flock Safety projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for all utility-related communications and escalations
Implement strategies to standardize and streamline interactions with utilities, reducing deployment timelines and costs
Provide strategic guidance and reporting to leadership on utility partnerships, risks, and opportunities
