Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in End-to-End medium to large ERP implementation testing, and previous Workday experience is required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Experience leading project teams in the preparation, planning, and execution of ERP system testing prior to implementation is essential. A strong understanding of testing principles, formal testing methodologies, and formal defect management is necessary. Experience with testing automation tools like Tricentis (Tosca) or Turnkey (Rainier), PMP and/or ISTQB Certification, knowledge in Security Test approach and audits, experience with Automated Testing Solutions, and experience leading/working with an off-shore Testing team are considered a plus. The ability to provide test estimates and manage delivery to an agreed budget, along with an understanding of the test phase life cycle, is also required. Excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential.
The Workday Testing Manager will lead project teams on Workday implementations through the preparation, planning, and execution of testing prior to implementation. They will manage 1-5 small to large Workday product implementations, track and report on testing progress, and guide project teams on test plan development and best practices. This role involves providing guidance and mentoring to other consultants, becoming an expert in the Cynergy™ (Workday) Implementation Methodology, and driving collaboration between QA and functional teams. The manager will contribute to tools and project assets related to Workday testing, track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns appropriately. They will work with the client project manager to identify and resolve issues impacting project scope and timelines, and collaborate with Workday’s Delivery Assurance to ensure checkpoint compliance. Responsibilities also include assisting in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product Support, ensuring the client can serve as a reference, and participating in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approaches, and develop proposals/SOWs.
