Workday Financials Architect

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of experience as a Functional Architect, with a strong focus on federal government systems. Demonstrated experience with Federal security standards such as FedRAMP (IL2/IL4, Secret, Top Secret) is essential, along with knowledge of OPM mandates and Federal regulations. Experience with HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Management systems is required.
The Functional Architect will be responsible for leading the functional design and architecture of Workday solutions for Federal customers, collaborating with Federal HR, Payroll, and IT partners to ensure alignment on Workday design principles and Federal regulations. This includes eliciting and documenting business requirements, analyzing current state configurations, developing data migration plans, and creating comprehensive documentation for system configuration and customizations. The role also involves working closely with Federal customers to understand their unique business needs and translating them into effective Workday solutions, ultimately contributing to the modernization of critical government systems.
