This role is for a Workday Senior Manager - Global Application Managed Services (AMS), acting as a practice leader to provide expert guidance and support to the Consulting management team and their staff. The individual will also assist the sales team with sales activities, act as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management, identify business needs, staff projects, and monitor consultant work/life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of managers, functional consultants, and technical consultants in delivering managed services for assigned accounts.
  • Provide clients with expertise on best practices and Workday touchpoints (experience in Workday or other HCM ERP platforms like Benefits, Payroll, Time tracking, and Finance is mandatory).
  • Prior experience with the intersection of Gen AI and ServiceNow is preferred.
  • Assist clients in working through difficult decisions.
  • Facilitate project planning and execution.
  • Assist Service Delivery managers in forecasting for project teams.
  • Act as a mentor and coach for people development.
  • Contribute to billable delivery activities to meet utilization goals.
  • Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of Workday consultants.
  • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment.
  • Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company, building consensus and achieving goals through influence.
  • Assist with escalations related to resourcing or project concerns.
  • Mentor the team regularly to ensure high morale and productivity.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Support the RFP response and pursuit process for post-production work, review estimates for sales opportunities, review SOWs for language and accuracy, and attend Orals & prospect meetings.
  • Contribute to practice building activities such as solution and asset development and talent development.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Workday HCM/Financials.
  • Ability to multitask and perform a variety of duties.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to solve customer problems.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to solve complex incidents and provide suggestions/best practices.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $154,304 - $205,960 (depending on experience and other qualifications)
  • Incentive Program: Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to plan terms.
